This course is designed for new shooters or those seeking to build a solid foundation in handgun operation and defensive fundamentals.
Focus areas include:
- Firearm safety and range procedures
- Proper grip, stance, and body mechanics
- Sight alignment and trigger control
- Introduction to defensive accuracy standards
- Basic malfunction clearing
- Foundational live-fire drills
The goal is to build safe, consistent, and confident shooters from the ground up.
Required:
- IWB/OWB holster. Avoid cheap holsters. Test it at home. If the holster comes off with the drawing of the gun, get a new one. It will waste valuable training time at the range.
- Pistol/ Spare magazines (at leas two extra mags)
- 250 rounds of ammo. Bring more if you like, we will shoot them.
- Eye Pro/Ear Pro
- Bring food/ water/ sunscreen. We don't stop shooting for long.
- Magazine holster(s). Please refrain from clip on holsters.
